Can't imagine who would have said that keith?
Diskin was so e last year that when the expensive Aussie flop was finally shuffled out of his way and Diskin got his rightful jersey back the team didn't lose another game, claimed a league leaders title and a GF win.
I'll take that kind of e from the expensive Aussie flop any day of the week, not that I am holding my breath.

Is that the same 5h1te Diskin for the last two seasons who played a major role in winning two grand finals whilst Buderus was a spectator?

Gotcha knows who said it though and when, hence his 'Diskin has been 5hite for the past two seasons' -covering response, which in itself is an embarrassingly stupid response given that Diskin was the hooker in the last two winning Grand Finals when Buderus was MIA.

I have no idea what you are going on about AP.
But Ian Kirke was also in the last two Grand Finals, are you and the poster above going to give the same positive comment about him?
Last years final we may not have even been in a position to get to without Buderus contribution throughout the season. It's ridiculous to even forget that.

It's ridiculous to suggest it given that we managed to do so without him in 2008, 2007, 2005 and 2004 and even last year's run began in earnest when he broke his leg and Diskin was given longer game time. I repeat, we did not lose another game.

I agree with you on Kirke but imo we would not have been in this years cup final without Senior who had a cracking game in the semi and he seems to be your scape goat just like G1 favours Kirke & Buderus.

I haven't seen the semi, so I can't comment on what I have not seen.
In all fairness though I think Senior's probably won us a couple more than that this season also. He is no scapegoat for me, I only comment on what I see. And ball in hand I never critisize the guy, I am only having a pop at his defence (just one aspect of his play), which I have continually commented on all season, and on most occassions continually got negative comments back from certain posters.

he was outstanding last season, but has been poor this. in fact imo it's been his poorest ever season.maybe his testimonial has taken his eye off the ball a bit.
however just because a player won this or that or was good last year doesn't mean he should be immune from criticism if it's deserved.
this is a professional club and sentiment shouldn't play a part on recruitment as it has this year.
senior and kirke should never have got renewals. it should have been a case of thanks for everything, you've been great but we have to move on.
there are several others lucky to be offered deals too.
at the end of next season it will be a massive change around in the squad and for me it should have been a gradual change

Whoa whoa whoa! What have you been taking?
Yes Buderus had a shocker at Wembley but like Ive said, that's one game. His first season was a right off due to injuries but IMO we look a far better attaccking side when Diskin is off the pitch.
Im not going to say Diskin is poor (though he has never recovered his pre knee injury form) but he is different to Buderus.
Buderus offers us go forward and that bit of extra skill and guile from the play of the ball. Diskin offers us a stronger defence. The two compliment each other. Look at modern day rugby, most clubs have two hookers who can offer different things at different points of the game. Its just like having Ali and JJB in the second row, they give us different options.
Buderus is a great member of the squad who can offer us that little piece of genius that most hookers dont have.

| I think Buderus started the game poorly with two errors which set the tone for the game.
