Phil Cookson had his testimonial year the same year as Steve Pitchford. Their testimonial game was against Widnes and we won 60- something. All game the Widnes players battered Steve Pitchford but relented in the last minute when he scored, then converted his only try of the game.

Many faces I didnt remember - I thought Cookson was about one third of the way into the line from the North Stand. Could be wrong though.
