The reasons for Bradford's demise have been covered at great depth recently on here.
Leeds don't have anything like the same number of contributory factors that have put the Bulls where they are IMO.

It's true. People may have asked "where's Damo" out of concern for their pets when they can't see him, but I don't think anyone's ever actually needed him before...

| Quote: Keith Swiftcorn "Several times verbally and by text message, including a follow-up confirmation text to yourself after the CC Final last year which stated [i'End of an era. Stick a fork in this Leeds team, they're done'[/i, to which you replied with one of your trademark tiresome agendae... [i'Agreed. Wish we had Smith instead of Bluey'[/i.
Indeed, it was quite an achievement by McClennan with a squad already on the slide.
Incorrect. In stark contrast to you who celebrated the announcement in late June 2010, I had an issue with the re-signing of the MAGNIFICENT SEVEN as it was obvious even by then that a major squad clearout and re-building phase was necessary instead.'"
All examples of you expressing concerns during 2010. None are examples of you expressing concerns during 2009.
BTW, I am genuinely flattered and equally disturbed that you either recall with clarity or save my text messages. I can only genuinely recall one of yours. It was from October 2007. It was deriding Donald as a "useless ginger chancer" just prior to him scoring the greatest try seen in a SL Grand Final.

I remember a similar message regarding some money and the town hall steps.... needless to say...

| McDermott in the YEP:
“Defensively we have been very strong,” he said. “I heard some comments about our offence after the Crusaders game and it does make me chuckle, because it rained from start to finish"
Excuses, excuses. That annoys me. McDermott really needs to stop kidding himself. Attacking the Crusaders line Leeds were shifting the ball from left to right, but they had no structure at all to what they were doing. You would have thought the conditions would have forced Leeds to up the jumper rugby. In our own half yes, but in Crusaders' half Leeds were trying to shift the ball, the problem was they were playing like headless chickens. The rain doesn't stop second phaise, some dummy runners and some structure to what they were doing - He blames that on the rain. I'm starting to dislike this guy.

I do seem to recall seeing more than 12 points scored in wet conditions on a few occasions. It makes stringing an attacking move together more difficult, not impossible......
Excuse making like that is not really the hallmark of a man in control is it?

That's one of my favourite texts from Mr Swiftcorn as well

"Even if we’d lost I wouldn’t have been disappointed" prefer that quote about the game I think i recall him saying something similar earlier on in the season

| Was the rain in Wrexham worse than the rain at Headingley against Hull KR?
Each time this clown opens his mouth what small confidence I may have had in him is further eroded. God knows what the players think of him.
