Hello aain ,I had not ealised that the Aiton to Dragons rumours had already been aired.Pelissier is not as good as some fans think .He is very fast but nearly always takes the tackle.He gives away far to many penalties such as the one that led to your 3rd try yesterday.He is an average tackler and no more than that.he is allegedly saying hat he will leave Perpignon if aiton isst choice .Overall he is nowhere near as good as Henderson and the Club-though not the French fans know this.

I would have him back for sure, he fit in nicely second half of 2012 and is under rated imo.I thought he had signed for Hull KR though for next year?

Lunt seems to blow either hot or cold. Think both the club and Aiton might be engaging in a spot of brinkmanship over a new deal. I'd rather a mutually satisfactory deal was reached than we re-signed Lunt.

I'd rather have Houghton, than Lunt. I'd rather have Aiton than either of them.

He is no world beater but I thought he did well for us while he was here. If we can't keep Aiton and Houghton is too costly etc etc.

I would be happy with Lunt , from what I have seen of him at HKR this season he seems to be ok in what I consider the weakist pack in super league.
He did a good job for us whilst on loan to us, I should think he would compliment what on paper looks to be big rhinos pack next season.

One of Aiton's strengths this season has been his play at the line and in particular his neat little short kicking game. If he does move on, Leeds need to find someone in a similar mould IMO.

I think Lunt was good whilst on loan for us but seems unfit/overweight this season and not a patch on how he played for us.

Fitness can be regained, I would still prefer Aiton to stay for the last year of the contract. We could then have the time to find a good replacement

I thought the club stood behind him with the sharks/peptide scandal and his 3 months illness, i would of thought he would of shown some sense of loyalty, but loyalty doesn't pay the bills does it. would rather seen this put to bed one way or another and set our stall out for rest of the season and next. Onwards and upwards

yes, to be fair to Aiton if his current deal with us is nothing spectacular, which it probably isn't, then you can't blame him if he does go for financial reasons. He is 31 so there won't be many more big pay days coming. I would like to think on this seasons showing in particular that we would look to at least come close to matching what Catalans would be offering, however we are in a salary cap sport so that may not be possible. I have no problem at all with him leaving, as long as the club do have proper hooker in the mould of a Lunt or Houghton lined up because Burrow is so obviously now not the man for that role.
