That's a good point tbh it would show a "lack of trust/faith" if GM was brought in.
I agree with your other suggestion about Gary Thornton aswell he'd be great as the u20's/3rd assistent imo. |

GH clearly has faith in BMcD.
He appointed Lowes on his say so, not something he was IMV prepared to do with either TS or Bluey who both had to work with GH appointees & who had no initial say in the men working under them.
I think that this may suggest that the new coach may have greater freedom than certainly Bluey had & may be the reason why TS was keen to move on.
