| Quote: FlexWheeler "But the situation we've put ourselves in requires a lengthy winning run to claw back ground lost, which we simply aren't capable of. For example, we win the next 3, but then lose the game after that, win 2, but then lose again. That's arbitrary but very representative of what we can expect. After that it's 5 wins from 10, and, approaching halfway you're looking at mid-table with that.'"
It really doesn’t require a lengthy winning run to get into the playoffs.
Teams have had poor starts and would have said exactly the same about their team, as Ive said before look at Wigan in 2019, im sure their fans said exactly the same at the start of that year.
You’ve also got to take into account other teams that have had a good start but may come unstuck.
You say we aren’t capable of a winning streak, how do you know? The halfbacks might click, new signings perform well and who knows we might have a bit of luck with injuries. Basically predicting anything after 3 rounds is pointless, especially if you deal with absolutes like we can’t go on a winning streak, of course we can, will we? Who knows that’s the fun of dport i suppose.

| Agar not ideal now imho as we seem to lack much of an attacking game plan. As others have said 3 games isn’t much and we’ve had the usual severe disruption . Think we review the after next 3 games. Is Long ready to step up if so? We don’t want to fall out with Agar as has done a good job until now, and is clearly a role for him at the club…..

| Ok, I get that briscoe at centre and wacky jack wouldn't be part of Agar's ideal set up. And you might expect that our attack would be a bit stilted as a result. But it's not a case that individuals are mis-executing moves. What and where are Agar and Long's attacking plans?

I'm talking about challenging for the grand final, not just getting into the playoffs, and there is a difference.

And we may yet do that.

They don`t need attacking plans.
It`s in Leeds DNA to play off the cuff I know.

| if the 3 losses were against the lower placed teams im sure leeds would be much more concerned. Losses to catalan wigan and warrington spread over a few extra rounds with wins against toulouse and salford say would look way better.
I'm sure the management know what they want and will be looking out there.

| Absolutely no point changing the coach now.
He is moving to DOR, so the club must be working on a plan.
But I fear a long, hard, fruitless season.
And instead of a new coach coming in with us on the up, he will be coming in to a rebuilding job.

Oh for a number of years yes, his success over that period supported my thoughts on him at that time. In his latter days I could see it was time for him to go, and on top of hearing what an unpleasant individual he could be.

It's a long drawn out affair is this rebuilding job isn't it. What are we in now, year 5 of the transition?

| Whats this new fangled idea of all these teams playing tonight with 2 starting props and 2 on the bench. Do these teams have a different DNA to Leeds'?
