If we are having a blip - would rather have it now with Top 4 virtually assured

Yes naming them is obviously a great idea. But it's one of the players.

Really??
Shouldn't that read, "after such a long period of dominating the competition, Leeds have had 4 shocking months"

| Interesting reading Hull FC fans who were after Radford's head last year, complaining about Leeds fans being after McDermott's head this year.

| I look forward to Hetherington and McDermott's end of season review concluding that their collective failures have resulted in such a poor season. Like that's going to happen.
They've had their excuses lined up since March, bulletproofing themselves against the fall out. The problem with creating a culture of excuses that drip down from the top of the structure is that the players start to buy into them and feel sorry for themselves when things aren't going well, believing there was nothing they could do to stop it from happening.

| I said it before, Brian Mac was part of a coaching team - Mac, Sinny and JP. Between the three of them they instilled discipline, game management and work ethic. Together a formidable force.
Remove two elements from this equation and what you have is a coach that seems massively out of his depth.
Players leaving, rumored that several other players are wanting to leave. Players playing with a lack of passion and commitment while other players taking a dogs age to return from seemingly minor injuries.
Lilley currently playing at Fev when he's been our brightest player so far this season.
Jimmy Keinhorst, who hasn't put a foot wrong all year benched for the entire game.
Ash Golding on the bench as an interchange FB... who the fekk interchanges their full back out of choice????
No recognised Hooker (apart from the one watching from the stands)
...and a half time team-talk that motivated the guys to go from a 12 point lead to losing the game without scoring another point.
Soz Bri but it's time to fall on your sword, I honestly believe that the team would do better without you (lets face it... they couldn't do much worse). You're a dead weight holding back what we know can be a winning team.

Only when the man in question is Iestyn Harris.
Can't believe Keinhorst didn't get on the pitch. What message does that send out, work hard, defend brilliantly, chase everything, make no mistakes - get benched.

it is. I can't believe Mac is still in situ TBH though. its gone beyond embarrassing now. Unless we have someone lined up to come in for next year and he is just seeing out his time. Bottom line is any big club would be wanting the managers head if they were rock bottom 3 games to go and all fans know it.

To be honest, he did deliver you the treble last year, whereas Radford hasnt wont a thing for us - so maybe the fans criticising you is maybe due to them thinking that he should be given the chance to re-invent the Leeds team

Harris never started on the bench did he? Murray would start him at fullback to keep him out of the way for the early exchanges then bring on St.Hilaire with Harris moving to his real position of stand-off and Darryl Powell either going off or switching to the pack. That's how I remember it anyway. Either way, Liam Sutcliffe is no Iestyn Harris and I'm not even sure Ashton Golding is any Marcus St.Hilaire.

he did, we appreciate that and all he has done but it feels like him and a few of the team TBH have done all they can and we need a fresh regime. a 6 year run as head coach is a long stint in RL these days.
I haven't said too much lately, our fate has been obvious for a while and we will see what happens in middle 8s. If he stays for next year i hope to be proved wrong but think leaving things in hope could well set us back for a lot longer than would be the case were we to start again now with clear plans. Whatever happens we need a few key new signings, the current batch have no leaders and are rudderless, i don't see thst changing a great deal next season were the squad to stay pretty much as is now.

| The only possible excuse for Jimmy not getting a game is that he was never fit in the first place, or got injured in the warm up and we had no fit 18th man....
But, even if that was the case, we had players out at Fev, so if we were literally down to our last 17 men, one of them would have been recalled to be 18th man in case of emergency...
Infact, the only reason for not using him that would be acceptable is if he'd got injured warming up on the sidelines after the game had already started, and therefore too late to take him out of the 17.
Unfortunately though, I think we all know it was just another one of the head scratching decisions that Mac has a habbit of making with regards the use of subs and his match day 17. These decisions can be accepted to a degree when things are still going well and we're competing for trophies - but when the brown sticky stuff is hitting the fan, there's no hiding place from such ridiculous decisions.

Really? Think you'll find Hull have only lost two games since early March. Once to you and then last week to Huddersfield. During that run we've won at Wigan, beaten Warrington twice, Cats twice and Saints three times.
That's hardly a statement of not wanting to be top of the league and throwing it away.

To be fair, we have been a bit ropey the last few weeks, but still in a strong position

I think you are reading it out of context.
They lost to Huddersfield when you would have bet on them winning that and probably securing top spot.
Chill mate you are doing well I was simply pointing out that some of the top four have lost games or drawn games they should have won.
No big deal.
I would sooner be in your position than ours.
