My sympathy for their current plight of only 11 points from 27 games, was lessened when some muppet on their site banned me for suggesting that this weeks game against Wigan could be a 70 pointer. All on a topic where there was general agreement on a 50 point humping and that they were the worse team in SL!

Actually I might have worded it wrong, but I did mean complacent. They were certainly competent lads, but took a wrong attitude into that particular game in my opinion. They were very arrogant and complacent, thinking they had the game won, and very nearly blew it.

Yep. I've only seen highlights, thanks to the Leeds website, but just comparing the highlights of the Fev game v highlights of their other games you could tell there was a difference in mentality for some reason. Their passing in particular looked awful. The U18's are quite a bit better than that performance and they should be annoyed at that game.

Id agree about the big lad at prop! Saw him really making yards and pushing the defence back. Nice to see a big lad in the youth setup for a change! We haven't had many recently!

I think we could easily be in for a defeat of biblical proportions, and wouldn't be surprised if the Pies equalled our 70-nil humping of them from a few seasons ago.

It all depends who plays, if McGuire and Hall don't play it will be very difficult for Leeds. Wigans defence has been ruthless the last couple of weeks, and the go forward from the forwards has been impressive. I can't see it being 70+ to be honest , Wigan have a tendancy of taking the foot off the gas.

Where did it go when they gave up at Saints and at home to Warrington once they went behind? It's a good job Leeds were at least competitive in the first 40 of both those games, otherwise they could well have been on the end of that kind of scoreline.

If Wigan get their noses in front early you'll see Leeds capitulate again.

Never not blamed the players for poor performances. But equally the coaching set up has to take some blame as well. Both players for not performing and manager for bizarre selections and lack of game plan are due crtisism. The players are not above critisism but equally the manager isnt either.

Wigan would have to drop their performance by around 40% and Leeds would have to improve their performance by 50% to even have a chance. I cant see that happening on both fronts. The Wigan forwards of Mossop, Lima, Prescott, Hoffman, Hansen and now with Hock coming back have been getting over the advantage line with every carry. I hope the Leeds fans turn up in numbers with talk of bringing few fans.
