I think there is already one, i think it was started as satire though
We’ve already progressed with him as coach, we were in a right state when he took over, I realise its hard for some to look passed the last game but we look far better than when he took over, I don’t think long term he is the man for us but then I don’t think the club think so either

| Not sure how any coach would have got a significantly better result with the players he had available. When we get some of the key injured players back plus possibly 2 more decent signings I’ll be happy to judge his ability. Until then we will struggle against the top 2 or 3 teams.

So that team we put out was worse than Salford's
We should have gone for Watson, the best current coach for getting the best out of average performers.

To be honest yes I think it was a worse team than Salford. A few players back though can make a huge difference.
Hurrell, for example, (for all the faults he may have) is always dangerous and sides have to put more defenders on him. He can score from nothing and that can have a massive impact on the game. Put him, Ward Walker and 1 or 2 others in and it turns an average team into a good one.
It's not that one man makes all the difference but one piece of brilliance can just lift a team, give the half backs a tiny bit more time and space and get the forwards on the front foot etc.
We need to add to the squad and have some luck keeping players fit.
I don't think many coaches would have got a significantly better result with the team we had out against the team that Saints had out that were looking very good.

I admit we are not in a brilliant place, but the spanking we took at home to Wigan in 2012 is very similar. That team had so many stars and still got embarrassed in their own patch.
This team I think we all admit is in transition. We've had some decent wins so far this season and even sat top for a bit. I'd take that over the last two seasons where we've been sitting bottom at this stage

That’s far too sensible, to some the wins don’t matter, only the losses and you can’t take anything from a good win only from a loss, we could finish in the top 4 this year and people would still bang in about the losses and not look at any positives.
It also seems people cannot look beyond the last game as if that must be the true test of where the team is at - it’s not, as has been pointed out sometimes teams get a good spanking even championship winning ones (see us against cas in 2017)

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

Absolutely nothing and no one said it did, we were both using the past to prove a point about the present.
If anyone had come on here after we nilled Warrington and said we were going to be champions and everything was great all the players were too notch etc etc, it would be rightly said to be daft and an over reaction. That’s no different from everyone over reacting to a bad loss, which this forum always does.

| we probably are overacheiving so far. i think we hit our maximum capabilities for this group before lockdown whilst others were off the pace leading to us being around the top. Warrington being one team way off and even Saints were levels off their best. Since the restart we have been way off and we can't afford to be anything too far below our maximum or we will be exposed badly as has happened the last games, i know we beat Hudds but it was poop in the main.
be interesting to see the response this week.
