I think you've set a dangerous precedent with this week's scoring though.

Won't you now be powerless to impose any penalty on a future similar occurrence?

And what if a poster goes on to make the play-offs by virtue of the points awarded from games already completed at the time of an edit?

As the sole trustee of the competition's integrity I think it's something you should consider carefully.

Is it equitable for you to penalise a late (but still in-gametime) entry when allowing an edited entry after the very same games have completed to stand?

It was fun while it lasted, we had some great times together (and shared some pain) but we all change and it's probably time for me to move on and gather some new experiences. I'll never forget you though and I hope we can still be friends.

Besides I'm not sure I'd want to belong to any club that would allow me as a member.

As a long time player of this tipping/prediction game I can only agree with the above, no points should be given for posting a prediction/editing a prediction after a game has kicked off (just ask any bookie!)

if people need to add information then seperate posts can easily be made, any edit raises suspicions which we dont want in our game

Not only will there be no errors this week (at least no deliberate ones) but each entrant will find his/her/it's name spelled correctly.

I'll say one thing it's not quite as easy as it looks.

I expect Frosties will be all over it like a rash. I know I would be if I were him. Payback time.

I've organised a multi-entrant prediction competition elsewhere and not making mistakes takes a lot of concentration (and a good spreadsheet construction).

What a shocker this week 2 from 7 and I weren't alone.

Salford's first win at Odsal in the SL Era, Celtic/Crusaders first win at Les Catalans, Catleford's first home win V Wakefield in 7 attempts dating back to 2002, Warrington actually managing to beat a top team this season and Hull turning the form book on it's head.
