No that was India cancelling because they didn't want to risk it effecting the IPL, and yes it made a mockery out of test cricket and several pundits were very very vocal about it. They only had a couple of cases, was a sham.

It would throw major questions about the professionalism of the sport imo if a huge outbreak occurred in one team on grand final week.

I find it quite bizarre some RL fans won’t be watching, it’s a historic Grand Final, fair enough if you want to cheer on Saints over Catalans but not bothering to watch it is very strange for a fan of the game.

I will watch it on tv but I can understand why some wouldnt. The coverage on Sky these days isnt the best. The commentary is poor.

That said, im looking forward to the final. Both teams deserve to be there.

Re commentary I said when Eddie was getting bagged left right and centre that it would be a case of you don’t know what till its gone, Hemmings was an oustanding caller if the game.

However, and each yo their own and all that but I can honestly say the commentary doesn’t get in the way of me enjoying the game one bit

It was something and nothing really. We really should be “play on” in a big game like this without silly sin-binnings.

First contact was on the chest Tad. He slid up and made contact with his head which made it a penalty but never a penalty try or sin bin for me.

For me, Makinson made a legitimate tackle that would have meant that Yaha would have gone into touch, but he finished it off with a head shot. Penalty is the right call.

Exactly. If first contact was on his head then its slightly different but Makinson made contact on the chest.
