7th apr 2016 Hull kr 0 Catalans 40
6th May 2016 Batley 4 Catalans 40
gives me confidence anyway plus this score from Challenge cup
Hull kr 22 Oldham 36
We might lose all 7 games , but im confident we wont'"
Oldham beat hull kr there, who beat leeds, who beat hull fc.
Oldham are the best team in super league.

| So after l predicted middle 8's way back when...............
We will play Featherstone - so does that mean Ashton Golding will play against us despite in my eyes being Leeds' only recognised full back (I know sutcliffe but before the latter half of this season hes hardly if ever played in this position) and of course Baldwinson already there but thats a different story!!!
I just hope the form we found at the end of the regular rounds doesn't disappear during these two weeks off!

| Fev will be a brill day out. Haven't seen Leeds play there in ages but went to the Fev-Cas cup tie a couple of years ago. The hairs on my neck were giving a creditable imitation of the stubble on Shaun Wane's chin.

As a Fev fan I'd be a bit surprised if Fev were able to play Golding (or anybody other than the three loanees), especially at this early stage of the middle 8s. With Leeds having loaned us Baldwinson, Luke Briscoe and Walters for the duration of the 8s, it would make sense for them not to make any of their remaining squad ineligible for the rest of the 8s with six games to go.
In terms of who is likely to play against Leeds, I'd say Baldwinson and Briscoe are nailed on - Baldwinson has been to all intents and purposes a Fev player this season, and Briscoe has done well for us and we are desperately short of healthy wingers. Walters I'm not so sure about, but assuming Mullally isn't made available to us he might play, though we have a few options in the back row.
On a side note, do Leeds fans think the loans deals have any implications about where 2 of those 3 players might be next season? I know Baldwinson is under contract with you until the end of next year, but if he was ever going to get a run of games with you it was in your injury-ravaged year this year and he barely got a look-in; most Fev fans would love to see him sign for us on a permanent contract, but you'd think other teams would have an interest in him too. Luke Briscoe looked very much a stop-gap signing for you given your injury situation earlier this year and Fev would presumably be a more logical long-term destination for him especially given he cut his teeth at Fev Lions.

| I would say Baldwinson is nailed on to leave Leeds next season.
Macdermott has never given the lad a chance for some unknown reason which is a real shame.
Even when we were struggling with injuries he could should have tried him out but chose not to.
Whether he ends up with you i think is a strong possibility.

They might switch their attention to Savelio now that he is there on loan unless Warrington go back for him.
I have always been impressed with Savelio in the limited time I have seen him.
Would be happy to ship out Delaney and Walters for him and Baldwinson.

| Leigh beating Salford makes things interesting. All the other SL teams have already dropped points and its Salford vs HKR next week.
If we beat Salford in week 4 we can have this negotiated by the end of Round 5 with wins against London and Batley either side of the Salford.

| Salford were a touch unfortunate with three marginal (but correct) no try calls going against them that probably would all have been given ad the games not been on TV.
They have Hull KR at home and Leeds away the next two weeks before finishing with three straight games against Championship opposition that they might have to win to avoid being in the MPG.

Hopefully Salford beat HKR next week, that will mean the game against us won't be a must win for them. If HKR win then we will be in for a real battle.
Hudds must be worried though, Salford took them apart last week.
