Mate, I'm 32, I have followed Leeds since 1987. I am possibly branded a pessimistic Leeds fan, I have seen so much sh*t over the last 20+ years. The last 6 years have brought me so much pleasure (as a Leeds fan!!!) that I thought I would never see, that I aint gonna get greedy. I actually wouldn't lose any sleep if Leeds missed out on the playoffs altogether. My point is.....that the format we have means that Leeds, even finishing eighth, would be one of the most feared sides in the playoffs. Would they be chosen by, lets say for example, Warrington, to play at home if they finished top?

I remember sitting in a bar in Spain in 2008 on holiday with a load of (very genuine, funny) Women St Helens fans. It was the night of the playoff game at Knowsley Road when they must have put 30+ points on us.

2 weeks later Kevin Sinfield was lifting the GF Trophy (again)

People need to remember what this sport is like!

Think it's great that there are more and more teams challenging the 4 with unpredictable results. Would be great to see a team win it won year and maybe finish 8 the next because of the strength of the competition

However, we are not going to finish top 4 now, let's be honest. I bet 99% of people had Crusaders down to finish bottom this season, and yet they could be only a point behind us. That's is a very alarming statistic.

I still think we can win the GF and the mickey mouse cup, but let's face reality as far as the positions on the league go. What this season's done more than anything is highlight the need for change in the club, if we want success to continue.

I think you will do well to get that 4th spot, for the last 3 season the team have been performing at a consistently high level, but gradually players physically and mentally can,t maintain it, this is what is probabably kicking in now (excluding the injuries)

I think you guys will finish top 4 and like I posted at the start of the year you guys have the teama nd experience to win it from there....hope not from my point of view
