| Your Easter schedule looked kind, Cas, Wakey, followed by KR.
You lost all 3, you may only be 3 points from top 8 but you have to play higher clubs to do it all the while hoping teams don't pick up points around you.

| What an opportunity for Warrington this year.Us and Huddersfield completely out of the picture.Saints are worse than us as a team right now imo but have managed to pick up a few wins against lower teams but you wouldn't fear them. Only really Wigan who will improve you would think with the return of a few plus Tomkins. i can't see past a Wire v Wigan final right now.

Wigan look bang average themselves. You would think at this stage the top 4 will be Wire, Wigan, Hull and Catalans. Surely this is the year we get a new name on the trophy?
As for your plight. Top 8 is still very gettable, we finished 7th from a similar position last year, and this Leeds team, for all its flaws, is better than 2015 Hull FC. However it was right about now that we went on a good winning run last year, and looking at your fixtures it's hard to see a dramatic turn around happening in the next couple of weeks.
I've not seen too much of you this year tbh, but from what I have seen its as though everyone is just standing around waiting for someone to show them the way, and the more this drags on the worse the confidence gets. Some of the senior players need to start leading from the front. Keith Galloway, for a guy who has played at the level he has and who was presumably supposed to replace Peacock, looks pathetic.

| pretty good summary Zucchini and i agree with you. I have to admit i don't know what to expect from now on.The team we are putting on the pitch right now is a million times more capable than what is being served up at the minute. We can make the 8 but im not sure im that bothered personally if we do now, 7 nothing games or 7 games against opposition we dont see much of these days and a chance to build confidence and blood youth i would rather see that TBH.
as for Warrington, i wasn't sure on Sandow in NRL and even less so back end of last year but he was wonderful last night and by all accounts has been all year so i think with him and Gidley you have as good a chance as ever to break your duck, the whole team looks revitalised compared to last year and you have shown it doesn't take much to re spark things which gives us hope for next year and beyond. I agree Wigan look no great shakes but they have a habbit under Wane of picking up results and are always up for it,they will improve and will be your biggest threat imo.I too hope a new name is on the trophy this year of course with us out of contention

Just to confirm, I'm a Hull fan, not a Wire fan.

Can't say i fancy Hull for OT but great opportunity to get in the play offs this season and if you get in it you never know.

I agree, think it will be a Wire v Wigan final, but never say never.

Same as it does now probably. What difference would it make? They only get to play players we are not playing.

| My top 4 from the start of the season was Wire, Wigan, Catalan and Hull and I really cannot see that changing. Wire have quality in the halves and a decent pack. Wigan will always be there or thereabouts. Cats if they can keep their pack fit throughout the season along with Carney will be up there and Hull if they can find someone to replace Pryce should sneak into the 4 . As for Leeds not a chance of the four and if they can get some confidence might finish 6 th or 7th. On current form we will be packing HQ again with a local derby against Bradford.

I think it's same as last year, once you play for one team after the split you stick with them for the year, so you'd only send players you don't rate then.

| Quote Ferdy="Ferdy"We are only 3 points away from being in the top 8, hardly a big ask, however it's the manner of the performances that's worrying. And to be honest not massively bothered about making the top 8. It's really only top 4 you want come the split if we do scrape into the 8 it's just a series of meaningless games if you have no chance of making the playoffs'"
Very true, our season (Hull FC) finished at round 23 in 2015.
