After being at Widnes last night, I can only honestly only see them winning the one game, which would be Halifax at home.
They have just lost the will to win. At 14-4 up last night they should have put London to the sword. They have lost their last 17 games in the League now and haven't won since the 22nd March. They haven't won on grass since Catalans at the end of last season. They have no pace in the side and it's awful to watch. Fans aren't happy with the way club is being run. Speaking to a Widnes supporting friend last night he said Wayne Bennett couldn't polish that turd.

No way Salford will finish that high

This is not 2016.. There is no on field leadership and we look lost. I really really hope I am wrong but I can see the qualifiers finishing like this.

why are people rating Salford? because they beat us in a dead rubber? they are crap. Widnes type crap. we may not be much better but we are better than them. and we don't have to travel overseas.

I'm basing this on the theory that if their forwards can hold their own, their halfs are capable of creating or scoring themselves, and they have a kicking game. I'm not so sure I can say the same about us. The game against us was a poor benchmark to use I agree, clearly we were not up for that game, and it showed.

However, one injury to a key player (for any of the teams involved) could seriously change the way the table will look. Can you imagine if we lost Myler for example. Looks like Gubb did his knee on the plastic pitch last night.

Thank god for Widnes...

Neither do Salford who are nearly back to full strength with Koppy, Lussick & fit (at last) Flanagan plus sparkling Brinning also available.

The thing Salford have in their favour over Leeds is they seem to be playing with total commitment. A bit of confidence to go with it & you could be in trouble.

Salford have such a think squad a few injuries they are stuffed. plus we have home advantage. 2 points

Still, I did predict we would not make the top 8 on our form. Just did not expect Huddersfield to clime so high.

You have to remember who Salford play at Home, that's 6 Points banked already and the finish line is 9+ to avoid the MPG for everyone

Treat the Toulouse team lightly at your own peril.
They are a slick & well drilled team who have played well most of the season. If you can keep Khereliah & Ford quiet, the team do not perform as well.

New signings Jackson Hastings and Joey Lussick look to have done wonders for the Salford team.

Both are only on short term contracts I believe, there could be a few clubs interested in them for 2019.

Yes nearly right Kev but Marwan had a big say & also a big cheque after the fans chipped in £12k. I think Marwan will decide where they play next year.

Leeds could do with both Lui & Hastings plus Lussick as you will see in a few weeks.

great win tonight but also great for us too, providing we beat toulouse.

I expect the table at the end to be extremely close this year, with some positions decided on points difference. We could do with a big win to give our points difference a boost.
