At least now you'd be dry.

Knowsley Road wasn't the best either...especially the further back you went

| At least in most grounds these days the area "reserved" for away fans is in the same postcode as the rest of the stadium.
Those who visited The Boulevard will know what I mean.

| KR is a bugger as its reserved seating and if theres a group of you its hard to sit near one another if you dont get tickets together.
That been said seeing "Sherlock" ambling around half cut was a highlight.

Nothing is worse than Hull KR - we once got lured in by the 2 for £10 (or something like that) deal which meant we had to stand on a piece of wasteland 150 yards away which had exactly 1% elevation above the pitch.
When Leeds were attacking the far end we could see literally nothing. Since then we've always gone for the sh[sizei[/sizetty golf stand thing - is it still there this year?

Half of it is condemned now. For the Bulls game Saturday only the front half was open.

| Standing last night in Salford's North stand meant that the majority of Rhinos fans were able to revel in seeing Watkin's exceptional footwork.
A treat to behold, worth the admission money alone.

It isn't condemned, they're pulling it down and sticking it back up at the other end. Work has started on their new North stand I believe.

| I once went in the lower half of a double decker, all standing, stand at Olham's Watersheedings ground for a cup tie.
The floor of the upper tier was wooden and when the Olham supporters stamped in unison on that floor it visibly bent and I was in fear of my life.
Since then I have graduated to side on viewing with no one above me.

That's taking swapping ends to the extreme . How is your mum by the way ?
I last switched ends at HQ in the pre Carnegie Stand days v Hull . Since then it was a v Wigan play-off game and I was dared by JR to go stand in the middle of the west terrace and start singing 'we are Leeds' in reply to them constantly singing/ asking 'who are ya?'
