If they still have ambitions to stage world cup games its going to have to be started in much less than a years time

Now we know we'll be hosting World Cup games in 2013 - does this mean we'll build the new Southstand quick to have it ready in time, or delay until after 2013... Seem a shame to invite the world's media to see the Southstand in it's current state.

So if Leeds city council submitted the bid does that tell us they will be assisting with the Southstand being delivered on time?Was LCC going to help outthe Elland road redevelopment if England got the FIFA WC?

I thought the plan was to start building it immediately at the end of the 2012 season? Admittedly I'm no expert but I wouldn't have thought it would take 12 months to build a basic stand?

One would assume that turd-polishing exercises would have concluded with the mis-shapen Carnegie Stand.

just seen on FB from leeds back the bid,it said"the new south stand is not part of the bid"so what is part of the bid if its not a first class stadium?

The new South Stand was Not part of the bid submitted by LCC ,so I wonder what exactly the bid consisted of?I would have thought the main critera was a first class stadium.
