Paying off contracts still counts on the cap, doesn't it?

Not sure to be honest, players do leave mid contract, we signed Croft , Ackers and Momirosvki all on contract so there must be a way round it

Don't think they do. If they did Hull would be 5 times over the cap along with Catalans. But the catch is that if you end up subsidising their salary at another club, it does. It's an expensive business any way you look at it.

When do the contracts end for the likes of:
Holroyd, Lisone, Sangare, Goudemand, Bentley, Momorovski, Frawley.

All up at the end of next season I think

I’d send Momorovski packing personally. Waste of a quota spot. Surely we can do better there from the uk or academy

I personally like the look of McCormack and if Simpson can ever get fit, he is a big prospect too. Would be a huge risk going with either over Momo though. Particularly, if either got injured.

I see Mom as similar to Frawley - a bit of a "holding" signing until out young lads develop through to first grade. Neither player has been consistently good enough for Leeds this year though.

It's possible both might show up better next season after some accilimatisation and a proper pre-season under a new coach though. To be fair to Frawley big respect for the guy, gone from his own crowd chanting against him on the pitch to a string of MoMs, massively reslient.

Trouble is Jim he only plays reasonably well for 25/30 minutes each game and it`s obvious what he`s going to do dummy and step.
