He shows some good moments and potential, but he's guilty of waiting for the game to come to him rather than actively getting himself involved. Jimmy is a grafter, and does look more silky/classy, but Sutcliffe probably has more natural ability, but needs to apply hinself more.
It's Jimmy for me at the moment.'"
Fair points. Watkins too has a tendency to be too passive at times which leaves us offering little threat from either centre too often for my liking. Of the three I think Keinhorst is the least naturally gifted but paradoxically is most likely to make something happen.

Completely agree and have said the same thing about Watkins on here previously. It's the one flaw in Watkins game - my words are 'he needs a bit of c*nt in him. He's got all the attacking skills and nouse, very solid defensively, if he just had that desire to physically dominate everyone, he'd be almost unplayable. He's just too nice. And as for Sutcliffe, he's just too quiet and passive.

| I know I started the thread but it's by no means a criticism of Sutcliffe as he's done well at centre....it's just imo that Keinhorst has been better. So keep picking Sutcliffe now in hope of what he COULD be in 3/4/5 years or pick Keinhorst who is better NOW.

| Its probably worth adding that there's 4 years between them, is a year of Jimmy stunting the future? For me I'd stick with Liam to aid his development (at LC, with decent back up kicking)

If Keinhorst was 30+ then yes but he's 27 so could have 4/5 very good years at centre for us.
If Sutcliffe HADN'T come through our academy and we signed him from elsewhere would people still tip him ahead of Keinhors (especially if Keinhorst was a local Leeds lad?)

Keinhorst is a local Leeds lad, he’s just a bit German as well.

| Think both should be in the 17. Could Jimmy not play left second row?

| Sutcliffe seems to be getting a lot of stick but remember he came up with the game winning try in the semi final last year and had a really good game in the GF, forcing a few drop outs.
Would probably have both in the 17, maybe starting Sutcliffe at centre and bringing Jimmy off the bench and moving Sutcliffe to back row.

| I understand that at least 2 clubs are looking at Keinhorst and Leeds are not likely to stand in his way if he wants to move on. Don't know which clubs but Wakey and Hull KR are possibles. However, worth pointing out that was the position before Leeds started suffering the injury problems. Could do with Ferres and Galloway back soon.

I'd be sorry to see him leave, I think he gives depth to our squad. But if he gets the offer of a decent salary and the probability of a starting berh else where, who could blame him for giving it a go.

| Leeds have turned down offers from unnamed clubs for Keinhorst already this year. He’s out of contract at the end of the season and he is uncertain his future is with Leeds. League express reports.

| Most people were happy with Sutcliffe at centre at the end of last season. One game against the team coming up from the lower division and Keinhorst is suddenly preferred?
I agree with the comments praising Keinhorst's various attributes for playing centre, but I think his deficiencies are being ignored. IMO he isn't big or fast enough to play there for Leeds longer term. No reason we can't keep both in the squad for the time being.

| If you are looking at a centre with pace then Sutcliffe isn`t the answer either.
Yes he has size but Keinhorst has more desire and for me more of a rugby brain.
As it stands Moon is a better centre option than the other two and Moon is a better SO option that Sutcliffe.
I think for the WCC Sutcliffe could be on the bench to come on as a BR with Keinhorst preferred at LC.
Like many have said though it would be a shame to let either leave unless Moon moves back to LC to give us an attacking threat and Golding or Walker move to HB.
