| Interesting (to me at least) that Sinfield gets no mention at all even as a runner up.
I agree with DM & Clarkson as young player.

I dont think Sinfield has been superb this year (along with the majority of the team) and think his form had taken a hit when he went to 6. Thus he gets no special mention. He's still our leader and a fantastic player when in form.

Never thought about any possible runners up mate.

Yet above you mention Bailey, Ablett & Ambler as worthy of consideration?
IMV Sinfield hasn't performed worse than any of those over the entire season.
I agree that he has had blips in form but so has everyone except possibly DM.
As I've said before I think that the contribution he makes with his goalkicking is often overlooked.

| I think Bails has been good throughout. Ambler took his chance well and found himself very unlucky to be dropped.

| Young (Rhinos) Player of the year is without question Clarkson – nailed on.
Rhinos Player of the Year is a little more tricky, Danny Mags has been instrumental on many an occasion, Abllett has been awesome on the rare appearances he’s made but his lack of field action will count him out.
JP tends to get overlooked as he puts in massive displays week in week out and it’s what we’ve, rightly or wrongly, come to expect from him. When was the last time Peacock had an ‘off’ game?
…and for that reason JP gets my vote.
