Too many of the pivotal or high paid paid players just haven’t performed tonight. And it’s not fair to just level it at the likes of Sezer. Oldezki really should have been putting his mark on this game, he didn’t. Cam Smith stifled so much of the ball tonight it wasn’t even funny.

There were some positives, Macdonald continues to prove value, same with McDonnell. I thought Johnson added off the bench. But the bottom line at the minute is we aren’t performing like a team that belongs in the playoffs often enough.

Having said all that, the ruck was atrocious tonight and despite some good skill and a tight affair, I’d hate to have tried to watch that as a neutral or someone new to the game.
