This was always going to be a difficult match for us with injured players returning and youngsters still adjusting while Wakefield with their ex Leeds rejects up for it to try and make a point. However the main positive we can take from this is the never say die mental attitude is still there and will have been an important lesson for the youngsters. No they wasn't, open your eyes. And two of the disallowed should have been given also.

Think you need to get to specsavers I watched the replay and you can see where he passes the ball and where the receiver catches the ball which is forward. Not having a go at Leeds it's up to the ref to spot these. The others that were dissalowed were also forward.

That's not how forward passes are judged.

Which two tries? I've watched the highlights on the Leeds website and couldn't see any forward passes.

I thought it was too. But the previous one looked OK and was ruled out so figured it evens itself up.

For those of you who dont know when deciding whether a pass is forward or not, its path relative to the ground is not relevant. Read the rules, take the referee course and watch the youtube video all explain it perfectly well

The Leeds player who threw the pass for the the first try had no forward momentum of his own; he was travelling across the field.

His pass was released behind the 10m line and clearly bounced in front of the 10m line. It was a a forward pass that should have easily been picked up by the officials.

It went out of his hands backwards, and that is all that needs to happen. Learn the sodding rules. Worst set of supporters going Wakefield.
