Not much to say about this game, abject performance throughout, awful conditions yes, but we were just never in the game. Hull KR did nothing special just played the conditions well and we gifted them 2 out if 3 tries and sone luck in their 2nd try

We don't seem to have a plan B, we don't have it in us to do the basics and grind out a win. On a dry day we're a match for anybody, but in conditions like that we look totally lost.

It's a difficult game to judge because it's the type of game played in conditions that you only see once or twice a season.

I don’t want him to go, I think if he can learn and change then there’s a very intelligent coach there, but he needs to change things it doesn’t work with this set of players.

Why did we go with a short kicking game whilst playing against that sort of wind and rain. That's just brain dead.

Yeah mate one we knew was not very good the other just doesn't want to play.

do you think its a coincidence that in the 2nd half we were the team on top? conditions played a massive part in that game

First of all Olpherts has never been any good and whilst Tindall isn`t perfect he`s a much better choice.
Lisone needs to start putting some effort in.
Hooley I said at the start of the season is poor in defence.
Roberts again one for the future but nowhere near good enough.
But it seems Smith is picking players he likes and not on form.
All said 4 of our back 5 out today including Fusitua there.
Forwards far too soft and let an average team beat us again like Hull and Cas before them.
Lewis reffed the game well and not sure what made Sangare get so wound up with him!

I didn’t say Rohan Smith lost us the game? I think the way he’s asking us to play, with no line speed or aggression in defence, which plays into the hands of a great kicker like Abdull, makes a difficult night harder. We are not capable of holding the ball (almost all season) yet our game plan is to throw it around all the time, which just makes things harder. Our players are not that good (haven’t been for almost 10 years now) so we need to play a game that minimises their weaknesses and maximises their strengths. I don’t see us doing that this season.

I’ll say it again, I don’t want him to leave, I want him to change. I also want the players to stop dropping the ball, giving away penalties and missing tackles. The two things are not mutually exclusive.

I think we’re looking for excuses a touch here. We haven’t produced a performance all season that gives me any confidence. We’d had a couple of decent spells. But all took often have we been clueless and soft. How exactly are we been coached to play? Because I can’t tell you - it’s reckless, unorganised chaos that every now and again produces a few points. All too often we are trying to cheat the game and take short cuts
