I read into the rapid departure of McLennan that Gary Hetherington was hacked off by the release of Matt Diskin and a row ensued.
This row and more surprising saw supporters favourite Francis Cummins leave the club after so many years.
He's a massive capture for the Bulls as he'll have been soaking up information from McLennan and Smith (when he was at Leeds) for years and this information will be very much welcomed at Odsal by new coach Mick Potter.
The question I'm asking here after the loss of Diskin and key coaching personal is are we seeing the start of a sad decline for the Rhinos?

Yes about the decline, no about the cause.
Diskin is no loss what so ever, you really are welcome to him. Nothing against the lad; just didn't rate him - ever. Leeds have simply missed the boat as far as the current successful style played by Huddersfield, Cas and Wigan. Who wants to see Harlem Globetrotters rugby if you leak 6, 7, 8 tries most games? Bottom line is we want to see a winning team. They can't beat the likes of Huddersfield so why not join them? Wake up McDermot and Lowes and see what is going on at the top of the league. |

I got slated for daring to suggest such a thing at the start of the season. Have a look at the best performers at each club and how many of them are under 21. Including Leeds! It's time for the old folks home for some of the Leeds players (which generally means buy a pub, unless you are Keith Senior with an ebay empire). |
