We all remember the rumour years ago that he was bound for Warrington and their fans were saying " done deal " and Kev was saying nothing . When he did sign his new deal here he said " I didnt comment because I didnt want to give it credence "

Find it truly astounding people can not bat an eyelid about one of the biggest names in RL history in this country leaving for rugby union.

How is that not a truly monumental loss to rugby league and more importantly our club.

I've noticed that for whatever reason throughout Sinfield's career he's attracted a lot of 'haters' to use the modern parlance.

You even see it on here sometimes from our own supporters.

We need to keep the big names in our sport.

I'm not working out what Leicester will want Kev to actually do? I assume they would be keeping Steve Borthwick as DOR as he actually seems to be improving Leicester this season (although that's not hard as they were absolute rubbish last year). Kev would surely not be a front line coach? Although maybe that's it. Kev might see his future coaching in RU rather than "administration" in league. Leicester would be as good a place as any to start learning the job.

I agree with Bang, if he does go and it's basically a coaching position, it wouldn't look great for league.

such is the fickle nature of sport, previous God like heroes soon become villains and the target of hate, maybe Kev as seen some off the absolute vile drivel aimed at him on social media, telling him to go do one and the likes after a last minute drop goal loss to huddersfield and a patchy Win against Wakefield. If I had seen them maybe I would have just thought F**k this lot.

It's hard to imagine he was unaware of that sort of stuff through his playing days - the stresses of the 2011 season in particular would have been an eye opener for players who had got used to hero worship.
Sometimes the actions of our own fans do make me embarrassed but I imagine that's the case throughout elite sport, even in a relatively tranquil one like union.
