...which is just as well really 'cos Superman himself never looked like getting off the ground!

| Kirke didn't get on, which was some what surprising as we looked tired for most of the game.
Webb was absolutely shocking for every kick return, which given the wind affecting our kicking game in the second half was disgraceful!
Not sure Clarkson bombed a try, i thought it was very well defended by Salford and i don't think a pass to either man would have seen them score. The poor part was not dummying then going for it, the awful part was allowing pattern to take the ball off him.
In general I though we lacked effort and got bullied around the park again. How many times did our ball handlers get smashed? Certainly a lot different team that travelled over just 6 weeks ago.

I thought so until they got ahead in the 2nd half. Our intensity, especially in defese near their tryline, seemed to go up at least four gears after that.

I must apologise to him as I thought he was the one who tried a suicidal offload in our own half in the second half.

| Quote: Rhino Rock "Could have been a bit scary.
Didn't know that extra time was to be played and also that it would be settled by a golden point until I heard the Leigh / Halifax result.
If it had gone to extra time and it did look possible with approx. 4 mins to go, whichever team had the wind behind them could have taken pot shots from just over the half way line.
Also, totally agree with comments regarding Brent Webb. Possibly his weakest performance in a rhinos shirt. Didn't really seem bothered and wasn't willing to put the effort in when needed. Luckily he is a big game player and seems to lift it when we need it.'"
I thought Webb was not at his best and sometimes seemed disinterested. I wonder whether it might be to do with a contract (or not) for next season?

Richard Moore?
While the pitch appeared in tip top condition it was hardly the situation for some of the low percentage stuff.

| Our resident fullback played like a complete shirt front this aft if you ask me. His one on one defence is going to cost us dearly one of these fine days cos at this moment in time Superman he ain't! Oh, and the experience at the COSS was very disappointing for a first timer. Give it to Sale and hop off back to the Willows.

Do you think Webb's poor form is to do with possibly not getting a contract for next year?

Webb's probably cheesed off with the rumour of Minichiello possibly coming next season!

| Webb threw a left to right pass from 1st receiver last week in the build up to the Bailey try that I doubt any other player, let alone any other full-back option currently at the club could have - perhaps only Sinfield on a good day.
Not saying that on it's own it was worth a contract for 2013 but he's one of those players with vision you're fairly sure to miss when they're no longer around.
