Webb was absolutely shocking for every kick return, which given the wind affecting our kicking game in the second half was disgraceful!

Not sure Clarkson bombed a try, i thought it was very well defended by Salford and i don't think a pass to either man would have seen them score. The poor part was not dummying then going for it, the awful part was allowing pattern to take the ball off him.

In general I though we lacked effort and got bullied around the park again. How many times did our ball handlers get smashed? Certainly a lot different team that travelled over just 6 weeks ago.

I thought so until they got ahead in the 2nd half. Our intensity, especially in defese near their tryline, seemed to go up at least four gears after that.

I must apologise to him as I thought he was the one who tried a suicidal offload in our own half in the second half.

I thought Webb was not at his best and sometimes seemed disinterested. I wonder whether it might be to do with a contract (or not) for next season?

While the pitch appeared in tip top condition it was hardly the situation for some of the low percentage stuff.

Our resident fullback played like a complete shirt front this aft if you ask me. His one on one defence is going to cost us dearly one of these fine days cos at this moment in time Superman he ain't!
