Moon did OK last year but he's not a good 6 in my view. It worked last year because McGuire ran the show. Myler's doing OK, but if anything seems even more isolated than McGuire as the focus for our attack. We also need to see more from Parcell and whoever is playing fullback. Whilst he's had injuries and is still young, I haven't seen much evidence this year to justify Walker's 'once in a generation' wrap either.

Bit harsh imo, the lad has had some fair spells on the sidelines so far this year.

Its ok to say we need more from Parcell, halves and our full backs but all those guys are playing behind a beaten pack most weeks.

No hooker can do anything off slow rucks especially a runner like Parcell. If he had of had Garbutt, Peteru and Galloway all season Parcell wouldve been better than hes been.

Lets be honest Moon was injured and unable to train early season and has never been same player since and is now out again. Hes probably never been fit all year.

he has been worked out by the opposition though. all he has has, albeit good, running game. he could do that from centre.lilley, imo of course, could give us direction and a kicking game

Said it for years i just dont see it with Lilley at all. Pointing isnt organising and hes an expert pointer. Never seen him create anything at all. Champiobship half back at best for me

maybe you are correct. he's had ome very good games but never a run in the team. give him a go. least we'll know one way or the other

Joel moon is leaving, he isn’t going back to aus tho as first expected. He is in talks with another super league club at the moment. Several first team players have fallen out with him because he kept it quiet and they only found out at the magic weekend. This is the reason he isn’t in the squad for Saturday against Catalans. I got this info from someone who works at the kirkstall training ground.

'He's got good organisational skills' is generally usually a polite way of saying 'he's slow'. Which from what I've seen, describes Lilley well. However, halves seem to be cementing a first team spot later than they used to, hopefully this will be true of Lilley, and he actually makes the gradequate at Leeds

Need to give lilley another run of games to decide. McDermott does not appear to like to use him though

sinfield and lockyer were slow. both had quick brains. not suggesting lilkey is anywhere near them but he was good enough to get a long contract. give the lad a run of games then he knows where he stands

Lockyer certainly wasnt slow.

he wasn't lightening quick
he read the game and was in position before the ball was kicked at times.
