Wakefield the following week is a far more important game. Cant get excited about the MM cup any more since the advent of the GF, its nothing more thans a nice day out in london.

A run beyond this round would also interfere with the build up to the play offs and hopefully OT. Id like to see Leeds use the MM in the same way PL clubs use the League cup to blood youngsters.

Maybe the system needs to be reformed, Personally i would love for the CC to stay in its current format but it isnt working. It obviously does not generate interest anymore, as attendances have been dropping for a while. It could be time to ditch the lower league clubs to have less rounds.

The games could be double headers I.e Bradford v Wakefield+Leeds v Cas at the Galpharm with tickets at £10-15

This would make room in the calendar for extra games such as the much touted England vs Australian Tourists game or Lancs vs Yorkshire

this is a big match, weather is only wigan and only leeds at only the qf of only the challenge cup,

That is shocking if its the case. We should be getting more than that. So I guess all the fair weather fans aren't turning up. The only excuse I can think is that when they announced there was only 10000 tickets people couldnt be bothered making an effort to get any

Quite simply, people don't go because they have to pay for tickets, which most don't week on week. It's exactly the same with the FA Cup.
