What I would expect as a minimum was an improvement in dumb discipline and defensive effort. That's not been solely down to physical size.

I haven't seen any quality from McLelland since we signed him, though obvious pick for tonight. I've mooted before an outside of the box option could be Dwyer when we're desperate. At least we're only losing to Saints and Wigan before we get bodies back, which would be hard to win anyway. Hopefully we'll pick up after next week.

McClelland is the least of the concerns and is being badly let down by the middle. Also showing more willingness to go at the line than any others.
