Ava was again out of his depth when we were up against it and struggled alarmingly. Maybe a spell from the bench will do him some good.

Oledzki was again excellent and in the first half was like a one man pack. All the bench made an impact.

On a side note, thought Ferres looked in better shape than the last couple of years we had him. Noticibly trimmed down. Pretty damning incitement of our conditioners when he'll probably just have been home training for last few months.

Yes, i agree regarding Ferres although he did start last season in decent shape too.

I know its the order of the day to automatically dis the club round here but Ferres was plagued with a reoccurring knee injury for a few years where he couldn’t even train properly for the majority of the time he was with us.

See above he had a knee injury which he finally got sorted last year, that’s why he looked in better shape.

That should have been handled at the game. The ref was blind there.

The Sutcliffe one is ridiculous though. Absolutely no chance of effecting that differently. It was viewed by the video live at the time also, who clearly felt the same way.
