Well it would stop you feeling hungry in the short term, but wouldn't (apparently) be a calorifically wise choice to sustain energy levels

I was in the pub with a few mates (with varying interest in RL) while the rugby was on so some of us were watching while some were playing pool whilst tuning in and out of the game. Weller Hauraki puts a hit on someone and one of my mates asks me who the hell the big fella is so I say "It's that Hauraki who they've just signed" quick as a flash my mate who has no interest in RL looks up from his shot in disbelief at a "big Iraqi bloke" playing rugby, to this day he thinks there's a big bloke from Iraq playing for the Rhinos.
