Donaldson is good to have around as an experienced squad filler. Will always give his all and is a model pro. But we shouldn't be in a position where he's playing every week

Sorry…Thompson is a quota spot….we signed him a few weeks before Toronto officially went bust and so the RFL didn’t grant us the same exemptions that other clubs were given signing Toronto players after they went bust. Leeds failed in appealing to the RFL to change their decision.

Disagree re Donaldson, he’s arguably one of the better signings, every team/squad needs a player like that IMO

Hardaker is not really in a strong position to negotiate. He's supposedly geographically restricted, several clubs wouldn't touch him whatever happened, others won't have the budget or cap space.

Fev have been splashing the cash as we've seen recently so may be up to their limit - or perhaps not. Leeds seem to have space and inclination. Cas - who knows what their position and attitude is. Wakey probably not. Then you're left with Huddersfield who won't be interested and that's pretty much it!

Id imagine if he breeches discipline criteria the club set him they’ll have a get out easy enough. Initial deal until end of season id imagine. Enough time to see where he’s at. The lad is better than anything we have in the bscks at the moment so it has to be done. Let’s get behind him if it happens. He may be great for us.
