A great signing and a player who is a massive upgrade on last seasons halfbacks. Hopefully we can get the best out of him in the way Salford did.

Maybe a better question than "how much have we paid in transfer fees" is "has anybody else paid the same, or more? " I doubt it.

I'd be amazed if they had. In fact I'd be surprised if anyone had paid half the total we have over the same time period.

Out of that list of 24 names (excluding Croft/Ackers) I'd say we got four I could categorise as Legends or at least outstanding, seven 'very good's, six 'OK's and seven duds.

Not sure if that's a good hit rate or not although most - but not all - of the duds were cheaper buys.

Still wont stop some in the near future calling Hetherington tight.

Looking forward to seeing Croft next year , he should be just what we’ve needed.

Prop depth is still a concern but actually excited about watching our backs for first time in many years.

Hope Newman goes well for England and stays fit.

I think the call up will be good for Harry, being in that environment with strong expectations from wane. Just hope he stays fit but that wouldn't be a reason to not let him go.

No as far as I know they were all out of contract when they joined us so didn't need a fee.

Harris (who we managed to sell twice, once to Welsh union, and again, sort of, to Bradford).
Also Hardaker. And I think we got a fee for Graham Holroyd, although I think Fax may have never actually paid it.

I just hope we get to see the best version of Croft. Likewise, I am hoping Newman's call up and getting to play alongside Ackers, Croft, Miller, Momorovski and Frawley helps get the best out of him.

I see Brodies agent is effectively shopping him around 24hrs after he's signed with us, If the article I read is true. Basically saying he wants an NRL return at some point and he has a NRL clause in his Rhinos contract.

Yes but it looks like he's claimed it from a another article that Orr has done with Zero Tackle down under.

The Mole reported he turned down 3 NRL clubs were after him for next season. So cant be that desperate to leave if true.
