If we were on the receiving end I'd have been unhappy about the JJB tackle but nothing else.

I condemned it on here and I condemned the one we did at knowsley Road. There's no place for it.

But despite what you may think by reading threads on here its' not a tactic isolated to Leeds. The mighty "S" have also had a player banned for it, unlike us.

Having seen the "chicken wing" tackles that have happened in the NRL i didn't think it was as bad as has been made out!!
However if it's similar to the one that got mary banned then there's no arguments!

The club shop sell a DVD of the game but at £10 a pop they're a bit steep.

If that's the case then i'd expect a ban and no appeal!!

Having re read the RL Disciplinary report on the earlier Saints player tackle it reads very much like the JJB incident and I would expect a similar outcome.

SL show will be on BBC Iplayer, and weekends highlights ususally appear on the super league website around monday/tuesday

Watched the SL show on sky+ and it didn't show the "chicken wing" or graham stomping around after the match!!

Yeah it also showed him barging jjb into graham from behind after the smith hit on gilmour!!
