Rumours that wire are favourites for hardaker but the 300k price tag will be a struggle although they have major room in the cap. I don't like ratchford but he's an half decent halfback and could be a stop gap to sort our problems before a decent one becomes available. Surely surplus to requirements with gidley, sandow and hardaker at the wolves. Thoughts?

Ratchford is a quality player who would be good in a number of positions. Unfortunately at wire he's been used as a utility when they could have built a team around him. Id swap him for zak if the offer came, though I doubt it will

Ratchford is a good player who could be really good at so if given a run. His versatility (much like zaks) is also a secondary benefit.

Tony Smith could be good for Hardakers career. If he can sort his head out he could be outstanding agin but theres a real risk hes as disruptive as he was here this year

Agree smith could also develop his passing. Be amazed if wire agreed to letting ratchford leave.
