Through boredom, thought id make a team of players it never worked out for at our club.
Injuries, moving too soon, or just being rubbish (Achurch) all played a factor. I've tried to pick players with genuinely high expectations too....

Joe vickery. Didn't he play well in boxing day game whilst on trial

Was low budget and no expectations on him, so did not include......

Ash Gibson springs to mind. He had all the skill in the world, scored 20 points on debut and would have been a good centre for years in the Leeds team. A couple of bad leg injuries later and he lost all his speed and was never the same player again.

I give you the man in the most exclusive of exclusive SL clubs - scoring the wining try in a grand final to win the treble.

What a team that would be!

Iro maybe although I'd say we got what he always was which was brilliant when he was interested.
But Craig Innes? No. Never.
He developed into an outstanding player at Leeds.

How about All black RU player Mark Brooke Cowden

Brooke Cowden definitely.

On Innes I was struggling a bit for centres - he was a lovely player to watch. I always thought Iro was much better at Wigan than at Leeds where he seems not that bothered.

Could put Adrian Vowles in there. He wasn't bad, just fizzled out and left quite quickly. Or Nathan McAvoy just for a laugh although his was a decidedly odd brief encounter.
