On another note, what's happening in Ash Handley's head? He seems to have adopted all the silly stuff that Newman used to specialise in.

Best team won. Only Lisone impressed out of the forwards tonight, and that tells you all you need to know. I’m beginning to wonder about the wisdom of Ryan Hall’s signing after the last couple of weeks. He drove it in off our line decently, but watching him give up a 6 or 7 yard head  start when he went clear shows the folly of signing an old man. Along with his mistakes last week  I would question whether on balance he’s a good signing. O’Connor offers nothing in an attacking sense in a pivotal role, and we looked clueless offensively tonight. Might just be a one off poor performance, but doesn’t augur well for when it matters. Thought Lumb stood up well tonight and showed he learned from last weeks poor finish. Well done son.

First half dreadful. First half of the second half slightly better (the lowest of low bars). Second half of the second half dreadful. Better side won but we beat ourselves. BA questioning attitude, that maybe the players thought they were doing better than they were. Sounds like a full on week for all concerned. Roll on Friday.
