Losing Miller sucks but id have put Lumb there , Handley to wing and Watkins to centre.

How many minutes has Lisone played ? How long does the ref need to give them to clear the ruck ?. 

Terrible pass to guy who seems to dropnalot of ball.
Now a late hit from Bentley? Why do both revert to type when we need them to stand up as senior players.

Glad we got the points but we should never have been in that position. Some poor calls on positions and interchanges for BA to learn from as well as the players. 

Another lesson to learn is that Kendall didn't appreciate the appeals for lying on so doubled down and subsequently gave us nothing 

Second half massively took the shine off that win.

Handleys D was extremely poor, Bentley his usual self, bordering on sabotage he was so bad, and croft offering nothing again.

Miller was fantastic, Connor class at half and watkins really good again.

Agree with others. The 2nd half showed the importance of a) keeping Connor at 7 and b) Miller full stop. 

Scandalous how much laying on that was allowed, we need to put a complaint in about that. From last weeks almost anonymous ref (in good way) to the “. it's all about me” show today

Bentley showing right there why he should not be in the side and never given another contract. Pure brainless stupidity and no need for it totally avoidable and nearly cost us the game. 

Although felt a bit sorry for Lisone, not the player to bring on the field last 5 minutes in a one score game, but it also showed why he shouldn’t really get another deal.

Strong words from BA on the obstruction that wasn't leading up to the try.


It was obstruction. Those making the decisions about what is/isn't obstruction need to understand the defensive line more. The statement about Bentley making deliberate contact is offensive. He doesn't coach his players to take a dive.  

Great game played in the right spirit. Atmosphere was tremendous. We were very good in the 1st half, and we weren't too bad in the 2nd. Wakefield, who are very entertaining side, just managed to find some momentum and make excellent use of of the breeze which really got up (those high kicks were moving all over the place) in the 2nd half. We obviously missed Miller, who now that he's cut out the mad moment's, looks like one of the best players in the comp, but we also suffered because Handley looked to get injured late in the 1st half, and really struggled thereafter. Not sure if that was picked up on the TV coverage? Special mention to Newman and Hall who both ran fearlessly when we really needed them when Wakey got on top. Once again, difficult to fight back the tears on the anniversary of ,Rob"s death. Really puts the odd knock on into perspective.

I’m sick of referees signalling for attacking players to get up and telling them to get up as the easy option rather than penalise the defending team for holding down.


Refs don’t ping anything at the ruck now. I would be instructing Leeds when defending to lay between the player playing the ball and the player picking up to slow down the pass as its no longer an offence.


I’d be stripping Handley’s captaincy for that captains call. Clearly not intelligent enough for the job.


Wish we had a Sinfield / McGuire type player who challenges the ref rather than us saying nothing.
