Then I don't see it. Three things would need to happen for it to come off:


1) Litten would have to be willing to leave HKR and join Leeds. Whilst this is possible with the right incentives, it's a long way from likely.
2) HKR would have to be willing to sell. Unless Litten told them he wouldn't play for them again, why would they sell him to a direct rival?
3) Leeds would have to be willing to meet a transfer fee set by HKR.


I don't see this one happening for all three reasons above.

Peter Smith reporting Holroyd still mulling contract offer. Would be very disappointing if he went the Gannon route. 

Would be a big blow to lose Holroyd on top of losing Gannon, and would send completely the wrong signal from the club. Again we should have had Tommy locked in months ago, it's just daft to let things get to this stage. If he were to go, who would we replace him with that would be at least as good and not quota?

In fairness the club were in a difficult position with both Gannon and Holroyd. Both had very poor injury records and also in the latter's case disciplinary ones. If we'd have signed them up to lengthy and expensive contracts pre season and then they both got crocked again, what would we all have said? In answer to your other point I can't think of another non quota off contract prop who'd be at Holroyd's level. Satae at Catalans will likely come off the quota due to residency but he wouldn't be cheap.

Mulhern or Trout maybe?
And if Salford are having a fire sale then Ormandroyd.
