As much as I like BA and what he has done so far for the team. I do think we need to be giving him an ultimatum in that we need an answer by the end of May one way or another. We don`t want to be getting to the end of the season looking for a new coach and there`s also the issue of new signings wanting to come to the club cos Arthur is there. If they don`t know that for sure they could look elsewhere.
Let's not be hasty. If it means macnamara lands another job in the meantime, I'm not fussed if it takes Brad until Christmas to make a decision..

Old guard coaching options in order of priority, bearing in mind I don't want any of them back right now:
1. Tony Smith 2. Daryl Powell 3. Brian Mac - for the live of God, no! 4. Danny Ward 5. Rich 'Bodene' Agar 6. Rohan 'some of these dudes don't really need training' Smith 7. Dave Furner 8. (=) Any one of Lowes, JJB, Chev, Long, Hall etc 9. Kevin Sinfield
Anyone I've missed? What's Brian McClennan doing these days?
Wouldn`t want Powell Lol, sure you`ll be ecstatic with McNamara.

Wouldn`t want Powell Lol, sure you`ll be ecstatic with McNamara. He ranked him second to probably the greatest Leeds coach of this century to be fair. But you should rarely go back in sport and that applies to coaches as much as anything. Powell seems to do his best work at clubs which, in size, sit just below the largest in the sport. Although Wakefield could grow into that tier given time.

| Watched the Friday NRL game and the commentators' stated something along the lines of "when he wraps things up at the end of the season in Super League with the Leeds Rhinos", which made me think that he would be leaving.

In an interview after one of the games at Salford, he as good as said he was leaving at the end of the season. However, the recent events concerning Perth do appear to have muddied the waters somewhat. What was cut and dried, now I'm not so sure. He may still very well leave, but it's not the nailed on certainty it once appeared to be.

Very unpleasant people to work for.
