Simpson and McCormack both on the injury list, who else is there ready to step up ?

Should we need him, I'd say Edgell is next up, then Jack Smith, then one of the Academy / Reserves wingers for a game here or there. If we don't believe in Edgell or Smith, why are they in the first team squad?

BA has confirmed Edgell is playing. When the opportunity arises he does give the young lads a crack. Do worry that we might be a bit lightweight coming out of backfield but can't be helped with the injuries. 

Think I've said that I'd have gone with Handley and Lumb on the wing with Watkins and Newman in the centres. It would have been for that exact reason, to get (or try to) us on the front foot from the start of sets. I think Saints will try to kick us to death and dominate field position.

To be fair, Edghil is going to replace Hall, and the other younger outside backs are injured
