| Next 2 games are the real test, we rarely win 3 games in a row never mind 4, but we have an opportunity to do so. I don?t think Rovers are man for man massively superior to us, but they currently are a better unit and gave the confidence, and i?m just sick of rolling over against saints and think we are a better side than them currently. After 10 rounds a 7/3 would be excellent, a 6/4 win ratio would acceptable.
5/5 would be a disappointment and lack of real progress from last year.

Think that?s fair. We weren't a million miles from KR in both games under Arthur last year, even with our pygmy pack. They have certainly improved, but it does look like they'll be without both first choice wingers which is no small thing in the modern game. I'd be a lot more confident if Croft were fit, but you can?t have everything and it's a good and true test. I think we have decisions to make around Frawley and Lumb (who's been great but good do with a rest) to give ourselves the best chance of winning.

| Here`s a thought! And I have been in the sun attempting to dig up the grass to extend the patio. When all are fit with the exclusion of Sivo of course. What about playing Croft RC inside Hall with Newman LC inside Handley. Sinfield/Connor in the halves and Ackers/O`Connor in the hooking role. Croft has that bit of pace and Handley isn`t a centre no matter how many times Arthur thinks he is.

| For me Handley in the centre has been fine other than a few defensive mistakes. My bigger issue with it is that he has been one of the leagues better wingers for years and his kick return meters are very good. We?ve lost that. Riley has been decent but with Sivo/Handley not on the wing it?s a net loss. The addition of Watkins does open up some more possibilities.
We need to get Jenkins tied down for the long term. He is exceptional and young for a prop.

Both Palasia and Jenkins look to be astute signings

Long term I think he'll stay at centre and in my opinion he's done well there this season, probably edging Newman ( who is now a more consistent but less exciting player) as an attacking threat. Short term I think moving him back to the wing might allow us to take Riley Lumb out of the firing line. I've got nothing against Riley and I think he'll be a true first choice winger or full back in 27, but at the moment he is being consistently targeted and I wouldn't want him to have his confidence destroyed as a result. The signings of Watkins and ECW (when fit) allows some flexibility in the centre and we'll need to use it over the next few months.

I agree on Handley i think he's going well at centre. Does anyone know when Littlewood is expected back.I feel is his the perfect replacement for Gannon.

| Seem to have come out of this one with no injuries, no HIAs and no disciplinary problems. Interesting how we get Oledski into that team, the obvious is drop Lisone ( or any of the other middles carrying a knock ?) but Like to see Watkins to centre, Handley wing, Lumb given a rest. We may not be able to out football Hull KR (even without any wingers) but we can perhaps relentlessly smash them....
