| I'm all for expansion clubs. The wider the audience the better. Seems to me the only way to get a better experience for the French clubs playing over here is to expand their fan base to the non traditional areas of the country. Lets say that Catalan can get a following of fans in the capital or somewhere else like the Midlands or even derby then their away support will improve. This has to be marketed properly, take a big club on the road and give it everything to get bodies through the gate. Leeds vs Catalan at City Ground in Nottingham or villa park. Give it half the effort that they do for state of origin and I'm sure it could draw a big crowd. Play an attractive game, like a lot have been this year so far, and it could introduce a whole new audience. Whichever body that is in charge need to grab some marketing and put their money where their mouth is. We have a product that is worth shouting about. No half d efforts, keep at it and if it fails, try again

The on the Road names in the nineties were great a drew good crowds, I much preferred those than magic weekend. 3 double headers in new locations would be my favourite. And with 14 teams 2 French clubs could play an extra game in Paris, Lyon, Mille etc

| Hearing that negotiations on Kallum returning are not straightforward, Salford want a bigger fee than Leeds willing to offer and Kallum wanting more than Leeds willing to offer, Wakey are also in for him.
Our old fan favourite, Nene is likely heading to Saints.

| Personally, don’t like the idea of an 8 team league, it gets so boring playing teams so regularly as it is

Tbh if that`s the case I would move on from Watkins and look elsewhere.Whilst I`d be happy seeing him back here he isn`t someone we should be offering over the odds for both in salary and a transfer fee.

I'm in favour of the expansion of the game, especially in areas that draw good local crowds like Perpignan.
But after so many years I don't think Catalans have the right culture to move the game in the northern hemisphere forward. Perhaps this is more an issue with their club's ownership and management. Catalans should be a superpower team in SL by now. Instead, we have in effect a less ambitious version of Warrington, a club still over-dependent on NRL and even SL talent (Makinson?!), despite in theory having the whole of the French domestic competition to select from.
I can't for the life of me understand McNamara's longevity as a coach. Which other top SL team would take him? Richard Agar has done as much in SL, with a much shorter top flight career. Hopefully not in the frame for Arthur's replacement! And then there is the persistent reliance on Tomkins etc.

| Would love him back at the club, but not sure a 34 year old trying to get away from a troubled club is holding too many aces.

| I have been informed that Leeds will be announcing that Kallum Watkins will.be rejoining the club. His signing should be announced early next week.
I have been told that the initial deal is for the remainder of this season and also for the 2026 season.
Fitness and form permitting then their is an option for the 2027 season too.
Kallum has a coaching role at the club in the pipeline for when he eventually hangs up his boots.
He is scheduled to play for Salford in the CC game against Catalans this week. It will be interesting to see if he actually turns out for them or not?

| Surely he can't play. Leeds would not want him to get crocked a couple of days before signing, which would be just our luck.
