Interesting to hear Blease's comments in the YEP about needing one more recruitment cycle to get the squad where we want it to be. Obviously just guessing, but I reckon that would include an upgrade at half back and Lisone if he doesn't improve.

I’d say the next cycle will include a halfback, a prop (maybe 2 depending on how the others go) and. Back rower. All need to be significantly better than those they will displace.

You would think unless Frawley and Lisone have exceptional season they will be gone.Think we have 7 players off contract . Frawley Lisone Oledski McDonnell Bentley Holroyd Gannon.

That's not a bad position in a way. Big season a must for most or even all if they're expecting to be retained.

Oledzki and McDonnell are obvious keepers. In fact I'd be slightly worried if they aren't signed up by early in the new season in case they choose to check out the market at other clubs.

It is a good position plus I missed counted we actually have 7 off contract.

Definitely and hopefully Gannon and Holroyd stay injury free which should see them offered new deals.
