| So the players that I was told over a month ago leaving have all been pretty much confirmed just 1 or 2 more which could be released to the public this week, the only one who could be sparred is Sangare as the club don't want to lose props as they really do want to improve the size of the pack. Hence why we have been linked with Tepai Moeroa & Cooper Jenkins, both these players are props but have covered back row during their careers at some point but the club apparently aren't actively looking to bring in an out and out back rower in and are currently happy with the options they have. Big sized props are on the agenda as we all know.
Maika Sivo has been offered a 2 year deal but the problem would be Quota spots Momirovski could very well be moved on if he can secure a release.
Nothing has been confirmed yet and deals aren't 100% done but I'd imagine our 2025 squad could possibly look something like this.
1. L.Miller (OQ)
2. New Winger
3. H.Newman
4. P.Momirovski (OQ)
5. A.Handley
6. B.Croft (OQ)
7. M.Frawley (OQ)
8. M.Oledzki
9. A.Ackers
10. T.Moeroa (OQ)/ New prop
11. J.Bentley
12. J.Mcdonnell
13. C.Smith
14. J.O'Connor
15. S.Lisone (OQ)
16. T.Holroyd
17. J.Connor
18. C.Jenkins/New Middle (OQ)
19. J.Sangare
20. M.Gannon
21. J.Sinfield
22. A.Edgell
23. T.Nicholson-Watton
24. R.Lumb
25. R.Hall
26. N.Mccormack
27. T.Warren
28. M.Simpson
29. B.Littlewood
30. J.Smith

| Quote mattsrhinos1978="mattsrhinos1978"Jenkins was also the strongest in the whole Dolphins/Devils squad, winning the Bench (150kg) and Squat (225kg) competitions in pre-season, 6ft 4, 17+ stone, fast (played wing for NSW u16) theres a lot to like about him, again, good buissness imo if we have signed him.'"
Another Harvey Howard who was pretty good during his time here.

Sivo for Momorovski would be a very decent swap.

Watched Jenkins in the state championship game. Looks a big well disciplined athlete. His carries in his 2nd spell did a lot to turn the game. My worry is that I was hoping for an experienced prop who could really lead the pack, and not sure either of the lads who we have been linked with are quite that. On the bright side Sivo would be a huge gain and I could live with Ash in the centre as a result. Here's hoping they can get that one over the line.

| Sivo would be immense in SL and would really excite me just like when we signed signed Marcus Bai all those years ago. Strength/power/explosiveness/try scorer and he and Hall would fit right into Arthur’s blue print of having big powerful backs who can really bring the ball out of our own end with a bang and get us on the front foot early in the tackle count.
If we sign Sivo though I wonder if it means there could be something in what Arthur reportedly said about seeing Handley as a centre?
I wonder if we might be one of the clubs in for Liam Byrne from Wigan as the other week it was as reported that Wigan might grant his wish for a release as he sees himself as a starter and Wigan have 101 props already?
If our new signings for next season were:
Sivo
Connor (still personally don’t think he’s a good idea given his habit of rocking the boat/poor attitude but reportedly a done deal)
Hall
Jenkins (think he will be announced tomorrow)
Bryne (maybe wishing thinking but gives us decent non quota prop)
One other NRL prop
That suddenly adds options and plenty of size to our pack and power and explosive carries on both. Wings.
I’d be well happy with all of the above and would fit into Arthur’s known preference for a power game in the pack and backs

| The only thing this doesn’t seem to address is the lack of leadership in the group. Otherwise it’s a good improvement.

| If we land Sivo and Momorovski is shipped out i'd fully expect our first choice backline would be
1.Miller
2. Sivo
3. Newman
4. Handley
5. Hall
If Momirovski was to stick around and nothing comes of the Sivo deal we'd more than likely go with
1. Miller
2. Hall
3. Newman
4. Momirovski
5. Handley

| Well didn’t see that one coming. Don’t know anything about him, so decided to have a quick look on their forum for a bit of fan opinion.
Some interesting reading
‘’Hopefully we can jettison Palasia as I doubt he has a future at the club after his pathetic efforts this season.’’
‘’Maybe we can move Keenan Palasia to free up a spot as I can not see him getting much playing time with Campbell-Gillard on the way’’
‘’Hopefully we can move on Palasia’’
‘’Let's trade Keenan Palasia for a kitkat. This bloke is so crap’’
