| Mixed feelings on Connor, if he's a replacement for Roberts then its a positive.
If Mom goes then there's 3 os spots to fill.

| Quote Sir Gregory ParsloeP="Sir Gregory ParsloeP"I get that Blease is good as a wheeler dealer and am
Pleased we have him.
From last year we have exited Fusitua, Roberts, Donaldson, Olpherts, Johnson, Hudson and Martin and signed Hall. We have also now exited Goudemand
I find it hard to believe we could not pay Martin a few more quid to keep him. I can also believe that Martin has not gone for the money but has gone for a better chance of winning stuff.
Overall though I looked at our squad and Wigan’s and find it hard to believe that we are spending the same money on the cap. IF we are it’s shambolic.
Forgive me
For my cynicism but after 8 years of mainly dross , the prospect of watching Connor whining away next season is not filling me with joy'" I'm pretty sure there were push/pull factors with Martin other than just money. There's also no doubt that there are a bunch of signings still to come to replace those who have left/will leave. But we'll always be tight against the cap and finding bargains is a big part of Blease's job.
And yes we'll have to accept that things are shambolic on the cap front. Leeds spend the cap and with the board obsessed with winning trophies will continue to do so.

| Quote rollin thunder="rollin thunder"Sangare did start to look much better under Arthur, small gains but a good off season lose 3-4kg and improve his fitness, could still be a useful player, he us still fairly (26ish) Young and raw'"
With Matt Shaw saying Goudemand is the tip of the iceberg I'd say Sangare would be a very lucky boy to stay. Agree that he's progressed under Arthur but in my opinion it's been a short journey from from abject to substandard. Respect the fact that we all have different perspectives on these things.

| I think if we do sign Conner that he can progress under BA as he won’t take Conner’s and I think there is good player in there just needs the right coach to bring it out of him and BA is the guy to sort him out

| If he's not on much and is maybe 6th choice prop then I've no real problem with Sangare staying. But I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves. Goudemand just wasn't big enough for the role we needed him to play - hopefully the mythical "middle" will be a thing of the past now. It will be interesting to see who else leaves. Might there even be a few shock departures to make way for the quality we need?
It sounds as if part of our problem is having a cap that is just way out of sync with players' ability. Martin leaving was probably part of fixing that up, as it will be a never-ending cycle of having to make do with some players unless we move on underperforming higher paid players. Martin was probably one of the few who was worth paying overs for, but assuming we're close to the cap we've some players earning far more than they could get elsewhere. Otherwise we wouldn't be finishing 8th and a long, long way behind Wigan.

| Just faith and cross fingers at this point.
Fusitua,Martin,Roberts, hooley,Donaldson, myler, Olpherts, CJ and Goudemand gone.
Maybe Mom and Sangare going.
Hall in, rumours of Another who won't be on much I'd hope.
We must have lots of cap, look forward to seeing where it goes

| I dont care what Sangare is on - he has to go - a total waste of space. There have to be props in the Championship who could do a job for us.
Undoing RS crap recruitment is a massive job , but after 20 years in the NRL , if this coach cant find us some decent players , then nobody can.

| I don`t mind Connor but thought we might get a Konrad Hurrell or Lafai type of player in the centres.
We now have two prima donnas at centre who on their day are top notch.
Unfortunately lately all I`ve seen from them both is petulance, figure pointing at anyone but themselves and far too many below average performances.
Time will tell unless Newman is one of those leaving.
