An emotional and memorable night. The club, the team and the fans (including the Leigh fans who were magnificent) did Rob proud.
There were some standout performances but a special shout out to Frawley, who not only had his best game for Leeds, but was constantly talking to McCormack and Edgell outside him.
Finally, absolutely love Leigh's style of play, probably the most entertaining team I've see for a long time,

Just something specifically game related, I’m really desperate to see Corey Johnson get more game time. I like the look of him coming out of DH. It would be a shame to lose him.

Im not sure about Corey Johnson, he seems to make a few defensive mistakes in and around the ruck.

Having said that I don’t think there was a poor performance from any player last night, which is the first time this year we've been able to say that.

We still only managed 6 PTB’s in their 20m though compared with their 32

Speaking of defensive mistakes, on at least 3 occasions O’Connor shot out of the line and missed the tackle. It could have been a ploy to force them back down the inside, but against the top sides it could be exploited.

His defence is too poor at this level he missed an easy tackle that lead to a try after he had been on the field line 10 minUtes so cannot blame fatigue. Players make mistakes and miss tackles but that miss was powder puff attempt, Lee Jackson esq.

My impression at the game was that Leigh won the forward battle, but we at least had a proper go at them. Two big props and a second row would transform us. Some have said the shackles were off, but I would argue that they were on for the first time in a long time. The result was less sucidal miracle plays and far fewer errors. This allowed Croft ( who has been outstanding all year) more opportunity to display his talent. Magnificent and unforgettable occasion. The challenge for the club is to create more of these atmospheres from a position of sucess rather than tragedy.
