Sam Eseh Jr makes sense, but baffled that we were in for Jake Connor. Yes, an amazing player on his day, but not exactly the type of personality you'd want around an underconfident underperforming team. Strikes of enormous desperation.

If there was a concussion league table (I'd love to see one) we'd be top of the league and uncatchable by now. Hard to escape the conclusion that we are measuring this in a very different way.

The sport (and rugby union) would be finished if every team did the same as Leeds. Its not sustainable to have multiple players out for months on end. I haven't seen anything at all like this except possibly at the Roosters with several players retiring early and Luke Keary out for a long time with concussion issues.

I seem to recall some fans thought we should be in for him but ended up with Goudemand instead.

I think he was one of the many names of props being bandied about as potential signings as most of us thought we were short. Which has sadly proved to be correct. Having said that, he's a raw kid as well, and if he was part of our squad this year he would most likely be suffering himself.

All the pressers seem to indicate that it is the RFL's Concussion protocols that are being implemented.

I do however see the reasoning behind the thought that we are measuring them in a different way, it's hard to not bring the Stevie Ward scenario into the equation especially at club level.

I've put something similar on another thread on here. it's absolute madness. Things are hard enough for the team at the moment and this just puts nails in coffins.. no other club in SL has these issues - it's crippling the team and something needs to change.
