| Quote Shabino="Shabino"Unlikely. Olpherts will get game time next year. Fwiw I think he has something to offer in a more confident team…..
There, I said it!'"
I don’t ever remember watching Olpherts for Cas and being as bad as he plays for us

| Olpherts is decent Championship level winger I’d say. As very occasional cover I could maybe live with it but I’d rather we have a youngster the opportunity next season.

| Performance wise Olpherts hasn’t lived up to even a Luke Briscoe level of cover.
See Cas have taken a flier on Samy Kibula. Big skilful lump who was well thought of at Wigan at one point. Will need to find some discipline if he wants to be a SL player though.

| Hopefully Olpherts will spend the bulk of pre season learning how to catch a ball.

| Not just how to catch it but how to keep hold of it under minimal pressure. His unforced errors are mind-blowing for a professional.

Hopefully he is learning to catch it at some other club

| I think Olpherts' errors are down to more than his skill level. It looks psychological to me - almost like the yips for keeping hold of the ball.
The club needs to send him to a sports psychologist to work this tick out of him, or let him go.
He wouldn't have got to the level he is if he couldn't catch a ball. There is a player in him somewhere. Whether that player is good enough to be wearing Blue and Amber is another question.

| Some pretty optimistic and wishful thinking re signing Hudson (who would only be a project) and Eshe plus a winger. Apart from made up reports by click bait reports I have not seen anything by a genuine reporter with an actual quote saying more signing to come. Maybe Hudson but doubt he would make the bench under normal circumstances - although I could be wrong. I would have thought we can’t have much cap space left after the last two signings unless someone is about to be moved on but the likes of Johnson would not create much extra room.

| Admittedly only viewing from highlights playing at a lower level, but I really like the look of Hudson as a prospect. Big, aggressive, skillful and not slow for a prop (understand he joined the game late initially as a winger). At 23, aside from his injury last year, you'd hope he's a bit further on as a project too.

| Hudson could be really good, but he’ll need a couple of years development in a professional environment to see either way.
I thought Hudson was a done deal from reports a month or so back. He has had an Achilles injury so it depends how fit he is I guess. Eseh wouldn’t cost too much he’s only 19/20 and raw; but we might need to release someone else I don’t know.
I don’t think we need another winger personally unless we do have cap left and, as Clueso says, maybe a Kershaw type comes up. Simpson will need game time and wing might be a good place to do it for a few matches.
