Sounds like most the players that come to super league. There's a reason they don't stay in the NRL.

You'd hope he was number 1 target but he signed a long deal with Salford to ensure they got a decent fee if they were to sell him. Cant see us stumping up the money. He would also want an NRL get out clause, which i wouldnt really want our players to have, doesnt show much commitment to the club.

We might be, let's say we were, Salford wouldn't want this public knowledge at this stage of the season, it would be the type of signing that would be announced after the season finishes.

Leeds aren't going to publicly come out and say - we're after Brodie Croft, its just not how the club works.

Disagree, all except Field and Hoy had at least some NRL pedigree. There is the odd gem, like field or Garbutt, but most at least have some NRL experience.

We aren't in a position where not stumping up the cash is an option. We've haven't been paying Leeming's wages for the best part of the season. We"ll have saved some wages on Austin also. That should be right back in the kitty for players we desperately need.
